I don't understand why this place has such high ratings. We got a pizza for take out and it was absolutely terrible and basically inedible. They did use fresh vegetable toppings which was basically the only good thing about it. The crust was completely burnt and nearly impossible to bite into. Sauce was underwhelming with basically no seasoning and there wasn't enough of it on the pie. It was also really expensive for being so bad. I wouldn't even feed this to my dog. One could eat an entire one of these "pizzas" and still be hungry and unsatisfied at the end of their meal.

I was hyped about the pizza amd it didn't disappoint. We got the Erie Ave pizza and the flavor was delicious. The crust was superbly crunchy and light. Overall a very good pizza to eat. Would recommend takeout as during busy hour the place can be very crowded.

We visited their second location this weekend after loving the first one last week, and it did not disappoint. Even though it was very busy since it was the weekend, they still found us a table, which we really appreciated. We ordered two pizzas, and both were absolutely delicious. The quality and flavor were just as amazing as the first location. My only suggestion would be to offer half-and-half pizzas in the future. It would be such a great option for couples who want to try different kinds without ordering two full pizzas. We would have loved that. Still, everything was wonderful, and we’ll definitely be back.

Travel for this pizza!! It’s worth the hype!! I was sooo happy to wait for this pizza on a busy Friday night. We got the Margo-Rita and Erie Ave pizzas, and both were crispy, bright, and flavorful. Tip: get the sauce flight (the garlic oil on the crust is delightful). The sauce has to be my favorite part of our pizzas: the sauce is SO bright and fresh. Our server did a great job of balancing kind service and a slammed Friday night, too. I will be dreaming of this pizza - very sweet dreams.

Having visited St. Francis Apizza twice, I've decided it's my absolute favorite. It's superb—easily on par with Comprosso, my now second favorite. The New Haven style pizza is wonderful and the crust is pure art. While I suspect it's traditionally fired, not coal (unlike Natalie's Grandview, which has a distinct coal flavor), it's incredibly close to perfection even without the specialty coal taste. This flavor is captured perfectly in their frozen pies sold at each location which I wish were distributed nationwide to local grocers (here's to eventually 🍻). My wife loves the simple pleasure of the glass bottle Coke and the side of olives. The only minor criticism is the Caesar salad. While the fresh garlic and lettuce were excellent, the dressing was a bit fishy. Nevertheless, I still recommend it. I actually tried their thin crust this time, and while it's not my jam, it's incredibly unbelievably thin and you can easily see why people enjoy the change of pace it offers. Stop reading, go there already, YOU MUST TRY THIS PIZZA!
